PRESS RELEASE VMI acquires MTI Corporation Effective on September 1, 2006, VMI has acquired the business of MTI Corp. (Manufacturing Technologies International). MTI will continue their business as a division of VMI under the name of VMI – MTI. The entire MTI operation including manufacturing, sales and corporate offices will be relocated to the existing VMI – Americas facility, located in Stow, Ohio USA. The MTI staff will remain intact. Mr. Robert L. Brown, currently President of MTI Corp., will be the President of the newly founded VMI - MTI division. The goal of the new division is to allow broader market exposure of MTI’s forefront technological know-how and capabilities. This will enable VMI – MTI to enhance their already outstanding product lines and support services. For VMI it is a positive step to broaden its range of products for the rubber industry, all within the unquestioned image of excellence. VMI operates from its headquarters in The Netherlands and has sales, service and production facilities in The Netherlands, Germany, USA and China with a total of 650 employees.
